COLOMBO (News 1st): Police discovered a sword and three live hand grenades from a rented residence in Pallekele occupied by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).The discovery was made during a raid conducted by the Kandy Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau based on information received regarding the presence of weapons at the location.Police said the ASP, who is attached to the Northern Province, had been residing at the residence on rent. Further investigations into the incident are underway .
