Pulse Feed ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Pulse Feed, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2.1 Information you provide

Pulse Feed does not currently require registration or login. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly.

2.2 Automatically collected information

When you visit Pulse Feed, our servers and infrastructure providers may automatically record standard web log data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used solely for security and performance monitoring.

2.3 Local storage

Pulse Feed stores your theme preference (dark or light mode) in your browser's localStorage under the key pf-theme. This data never leaves your device.

3. Cookies

Pulse Feed does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We may use strictly necessary session cookies required for the website to function correctly.

4. Third-party services

Pulse Feed uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database and file storage hosting. Data is stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — AI summary generation. Article text may be sent to the Claude API to produce summaries. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts— typography. Font files are loaded from Google's CDN. See Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention

Log data is retained for no longer than 90 days. We do not sell, rent, or share any collected data with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR) to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pulse Feed after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
