COLOMBO (News1st);The Election Commission states that it will inform the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress today to nominate a suitable National List Member of Parliament to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of M.S. Abdul Waheed.Its Chairman, R.M.A.L. Rathnayake, stated that a letter was received yesterday afternoon from the Acting Secretary-General of Parliament informing that a parliamentary seat has become vacant due to the resignation of M.S. Abdul Waheed.M.S. Abdul Waheed has resigned from his Member of Parliament post with effect from yesterday.
