COLOMBO (News 1st) - Deputy Minister of Defence Major General (Retd.) Aruna Jayasekara says steps are being taken to regulate private security services in the country.Jayasekara said a draft bill containing the relevant legal amendments is expected to be presented to Parliament within the next few months.The Deputy Minister of Defence added that assistance will also be sought from the Attorney General’s Department, the Department of Labour, and the Police in this regard.
