COLOMBO (News 1st): A shop selling substandard vehicle spare parts on the Kadawatha–Ganemulla road has been raided by the Consumer Affairs Authority.The raid was conducted over several offenses, including selling and storing substandard lubricants and vehicle spare parts, and failing to display the prices of goods.The Authority stated that the value of these spare parts and lubricants is nearly 5 million rupees.The seized case properties have been sealed by the officials.Further investigations into the incident are underway, and the Consumer Affairs Authority mentioned that legal action will be taken against the shop owner and the relevant sales agents.
