COLOMBO (News 1st): An illegal stock of substandard animal medicines that was not registered with the Department of Animal Production and Health has been taken into custody by the Consumer Affairs Authority.This occurred during a special joint raid conducted by the Consumer Affairs Authority and the Department of Animal Production and Health.The total weight of the stock of medicines is 1,090 kilograms, and its value is close to 3 million rupees.The Consumer Affairs Authority stated that steps have been taken to destroy the stock of animal medicines.
