COLOMBO (News 1st) - Cabinet approval has been granted for the purchase of 600 air-conditioned buses for the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).The cabinet paper was submitted by the Acting Minister of Transport.The new fleet is expected to be deployed for intercity and long-distance passenger services.A total allocation of Rs. 14.4 billion has been set aside in the budget for the project.
