COLOMBO (News 1st): The Civil Aviation Authority states that Sri Lankan Airlines flights to Kuwait have been temporarily suspended due to the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East.Its Director General, Daminda Rambukwella, mentioned that these flights have been suspended for a period of one week starting from yesterday afternoon.He stated that this decision was reached following an analysis regarding the security and safety of the Kuwaiti airspace.Daminda Rambukwella also noted that, in light of the ongoing conflicts, the situation in Bahrain is being closely monitored as well.
