COLOMBO (News 1st) – The 46th Annual Convention of the Capital Maharaja Group commenced this afternoon at Stein Studios in Ratmalana, with Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya attending as the Chief Guest.CEO of MBC Networks Ltd. Buddhi Wickramanayake, was honoured with the prestigious ‘Executive of the Year 2026’ award, recognising his exceptional contributions, outstanding performance, and visionary leadership within the organisation.The event was attended by Capital Maharaja Group Chairman Sashi Rajamahendran, along with senior management, executives, and distinguished invitees.The annual convention celebrates and recognises the achievements and contributions of the Group’s executive leadership. Five outstanding nominees were shortlisted for the Executive of the Year award, with Buddhi Wickramanayake emerging as the recipient of this prestigious honour.
