PARO, Bhutan – The 10th ABU Media Summit on Climate Action & Disaster Prevention and ABU AI Forum officially commenced on June 16, 2026, at the historic Dungkar Dzong in Paro, Bhutan, bringing together leading media executives, policymakers, and technology experts from across the Asia-Pacific region.The three-day summit, held from June 16 to 18, focuses on climate action, disaster prevention, and the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the media industry.Delivering the welcome address at the opening ceremony was Dorji Tashi, Chief Executive Officer of the Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS).
