Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a grenade attack on a house in the Ratmalana area on August 5, Sri Lanka Police said. The Mount Lavinia Police had launched an investigation into the incident, which occurred within the Mount Lavinia Police Division. A team of officers from the Mount Lavinia Police arrested the four suspects in Moratuwa and Ratmalana yesterday evening (08). The suspects, aged 21, 26, 28 and 30, are residents of Moratuwa and Ratmalana. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the attack was carried out on the instructions of an organised criminal currently overseas, with a dispute between organised criminal groups believed to have led to the attack, police said.
