COLOMBO(News 1st): A suspect has been arrested for defrauding a private company of Rs. 59,656,496 while working as an employee.Police stated that the suspect had entered false information into the company's computer system to credit the funds to bank accounts.The suspect was arrested for criminal breach of trust and fraudulent misappropriation of funds.The arrest was made during an investigation conducted by the Financial Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) following a complaint received.The suspect is a 30-year-old resident of Maligawatta.
